Minister Gao Condoled Dead Soldiers’ Family and Expressed Sadness and Grief (November 19, 2015)

    Minister of Ministry of National Defense Guangchi Gao visited Kinmen today to give condolence to dead soldiers on duty and their family members at their mourning halls and show his sadness and grief sincerely. Minister Gao guided related units to make full effort to help the family members take care of the subsequent condolence and funeral. In the afternoon, Minister Gao arrived at Kinmen and visited Kinmen County Cemetery to condole Sergeant Wang, Chun-Chi and Private First Class Huang, Yu-Chia and their family members. Minister Gao listened to family members’ needs and opinions and showed his condolences.  

      In addition to condolences, Minister Gao concerned the morale of the military considerably and visited the unit to comfort soldiers and encourage grassroots morale. Minister Gao recognized soldiers’ dedication to the combat training and expressed his condolences again. He hoped that soldiers in the company would hold a positive attitude toward this event and learn from it. Moreover, he encouraged soldiers to continuously strengthen the logistic maintenance and return to the normal training of operations in a safe environment, so as to maintain solid fighting forces and safeguard the country.
